MIF – Museum of Women’s Entrepreneurship

The museum dedicated to Donna Francesca Sanna Sulis, a Muraverese entrepreneur and benefactor, is a small women’s museum. The museum tour takes its cue from the story of Donna Francesca Sulis, a symbol for all women protagonists of their own entrepreneurial, artisanal and professional enterprise. Thus, it is women’s work that the museum aims to represent, work that evolves from traditional craft activities such as weaving, silkworming, embroidery, fabric dyeing or macramé, and reflects stories of women, their hard work, dedication and creativity. The museum is an open space, a living and participatory museum in which the know-how of Sardinian women of yesterday and today is the protagonist.
La Domu de is candelajus – The House of the Candlemakers

The Domu de is candelajus, known as the house of candlestick makers, is located on Speranza Street and is an ethnographic museum-workshop housed in the home of Aunt Savina, a famous figure in the village for her craftsmanship in candle making. This museum offers an exhibition tour through various craft workshops, each dedicated to the art of textiles and tailoring.
Portico Petretto

The Petretto portico, formerly called “su crocciu,” is a monument located in the historic center. It was erected in the 17th century and recently restored. Made of stone, it has an arched shape supporting a balconied corridor, with two arched openings on each side. Built by the Petretto family, it was used as a link between two houses belonging to the family, arranged on two sides of the public street, preventing residents from crossing and allowing residents restricted access.
