The Murals

The Murals are true artistic masterpieces designed with the intention of enriching the tourist experience in the charming town of Muravera. These fascinating works of art decorate the village streets with vibrant colors, portraying local clothing, crafts and ancient traditions. The paintings, which masterfully adorn the walls, simply narrate the daily life associated with agriculture and pastoralism, offering visitors a fascinating window into the customs and traditions of the region.

Numerous talented Sardinian artists have contributed their works to embellish the local artistic heritage, enriching the cultural fabric of the town. The inspiration for these magnificent Murals came to life during one of the past editions of the Citrus Festival, thanks to the vision and initiative of the City Administration. These fascinating works of art have become a must-see attraction for visitors, offering them a unique and memorable experience in the heart of Muravera.
Of particular note are some works by the talented artist Stefano Pani: 1) “A curious old woman, ” depicting a lady leaning against a small wall (made along Marconi Street); 2) The work dedicated to female entrepreneur Donna Francesca Sanna Sulis right in front of the Museum of Women’s Entrepreneurship (MIF) named after her, in the wall of the parish house; 3) “An old man looking at you,” a work that leans more toward street art.
